Mill River Collaborative will hold It’s My Park Day on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 10 am to noon.
It’s My Park Day will feature the Groundbreaking for the 12-acre phase 1 of Mill River Park construction.  It’s My Park Day will have fun for the whole family…pumpkin carving contest, face painting, balloon artists, and inflatable play environments.

There will be tours of the river restoration and newly established meadows.
The Governor and Mayor, co-chairs of the Mill River Park’s capital campaign, have been invited to speak at the Groundbreaking.

Mill River Collaborative is offering sponsorship opportunities for It’s My Park Day and Groundbreaking. Sponsors will be recognized at the event, in pre- and post-event publicity, and media announcements.
