On Saturday 10/25 over 100 people learned about horticulture, worked up a sweat and made new friends while logging in over 300 hours planting eight thousand flower bulbs here at Mill River Playground.   Included in the design were Summer snowflakes, Siberian Squill, Ornamental Onions,  and a variety of Daffodils.    

Thank you to a number of neighborhood volunteers - over 80 area High School students from the “Building with Books” program and Keep Stamford Beautiful, over 15 Girls Scouts from 2 Stamford troops, as well as 20 additional volunteers from Bridgeport Union House and the Norwalk Neon program.
